At www.odeus.com, we respect your right to privacy and we understand that visitors to www.odeus.com (“Site”) need to control the uses of their personal information. The privacy policy below describes the measures taken by us to protect your privacy in connection with your use of our Site.
WHAT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT, AND WHEN DO WE COLLECT IT?
Orders
When you purchase a product from us online, on your order form we ask for your name, age, e-mail address, home address, billing and shipping information, username, password, how you found out about us, what we can do better to improve our service and necessary financial information (i.e., your credit card number, expiration date). This information is used to process a sale. If we have trouble processing a sale, we will use this information to contact you. We use third parties to accept and process credit card payments for purchases of products on our Site.
Registration
While making a purchase from the Site, you are given the option to register with us and create a user name and password. This user name and password functionality offers our customers the ability to quickly and easily proceed through the check out process on repeat visits. We do not store your credit card information as part of this optional service. There is also the option to receive our Email Newsletter updates and RSS feeds. If you choose to receive these you should expect weekly HTML newsletter content or RSS feeds to arrive at the email address you provided with your purchase or registration.
Special Contests or Promotions
We often present special contests or provide the opportunity to participate in surveys on our Site. Your participation in these activities is entirely voluntary. If you do decide to participate, we will ask you to provide your name and shipping address and demographic information (i.e. your zip code). We use this information to notify contest winners, to award prizes and to automatically send participants our HTML or text newsletter or RSS feeds.
We may occasionally present a special contest or promotion that is sponsored by another company. To qualify for entry in such contest or promotion, we may ask you to provide the same information as described in the paragraph immediately above. When we plan to share your personal information with the third party sponsor(s) or with others, we will provide a statement to that effect in the contest or promotion terms so that you will know before you participate that your personal information will be shared and you can decide whether or not to participate.
IP Address
An Internet Protocol (“IP”) address is a unique string of numbers that is assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. We will use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Site. Your IP address also may be used to gather broad demographic information.
Cookies
A “cookie” is a small data file that can be placed on your hard drive when you visit certain websites. We use cookies to collect, store and sometimes track information for statistical purposes to improve the services we provide. If you are a registered user, we will use a cookie to save your settings and to provide customizable and personalized services. These cookies do not enable third parties to access any of your personally identifiable information, and the cookies we use all expire eventually if you cease to use our Site. Tell-A-Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Site, we will ask you for your friend’s first and last name and email address. Once you give us your friend’s email address, that friend will also automatically be subscribed to our weekly HTML email newsletter or RSS Feeds, and we will also use the personal information you give us to contact the friend with sales promotions and invitations to visit the Site. Once the friend registers with the Site, the friend must send an email message to info@odeus.com in order to be removed from our database.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION?
Customized Experience
We gather your personally identifiable information to assist in filling your orders and to provide you with a customized experience on our Site. Your personally identifiable information helps us tailor the content, services, goods and advertising to your current and future needs.
If you register with our Site or participate in special contests or promotions, we will automatically send you e-mail messages and newsletters from time to time informing you of our products and services, such as new features and services, special offers and updated information. Our newsletters may contain code that enables our database to track your usage of the newsletters, including whether the e-mail was opened and/or what links (if any) were clicked. 1-Opt-Out of receiving emails
Although most users of our Site tell us they value receiving our newsletters and special promotions, we recognize the importance of providing you with choice and control. 2-View and update profile.
You can help us maintain the accuracy of your profile by notifying us when you change your address, title, phone number or e-mail address. You may view the information we retain about you at any time by logging into our account if you have registered. Whether you register or not, if you place orders with us you will receive by email a copy of your order showing the shipping address, name, telephone number and email address that you gave to us when ordering or registering. To update your information, you may notify us by email at info@odeus.com or telephone us at the number listed below. Please include your current contact information so that we can make the appropriate corrections.
3-Purge personal information.
If at any time you wish to purge the information we retain about you, you may notify us by email at info@odeus.com or telephone us at the number listed below.
HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We will retain your personal information indefinitely.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS’ PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION?
Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We assume products purchased through credit card means are purchased by adults or minors supervised by a parent or guardian. We respect the privacy of parents and children and are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). On those areas of our Site that ask for age, we do not collect personal information from individuals who identify themselves as under the age of 13 except in those limited circumstances where we believe that such collection is permitted under COPPA.
We may ask prospective users to provide their age during the registration process and on other areas of our Site. If a user indicates that he or she is under the age of 13 then all personal data collected during the registration process is automatically deleted except that we may retain and use limited information, such as the child’s email address, for a limited period of time, in those cases where we believe that the collection and use of such information is permitted under COPPA.
If a parent believes that his or her child has provided us with personal information, he or she can contact us via e-mail or telephone as listed below. We will promptly delete the information upon learning that it relates to a child under the age of 13.
We believe that parents should supervise their children’s online activities and consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers that help provide a kid-friendly online environment. These tools can also prevent children from otherwise disclosing online their name, address and other personal information without parental permission.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR PRIVACY?
Security
We have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. These security measures include a firewall to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. Our Site resides on a server hosted by a third party provider. The security measures employed by the provider consist of a Secured Sockets Layer certificate which encrypts the data you send to us and makes it unreadable to anyone interception the transmission. Although we will exercise reasonable care in providing secure transmission of information between your computer and our servers, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to us over the Internet and we accept no liability for any unintentional disclosure. We will protect the transmission of credit card information through industry standard, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption and data in our shopping cart and ordering features is backed up via a secure host that requires a password for entry.

Our Site contains hyperlinks and pointers to Internet sites maintained by third parties. These links are provided for your reference only. We do not control, operate or endorse in any respect information, products or services on such third-party sites and are not responsible for their content. Many third-party sites have their own privacy policies that differ from ours. This privacy policy only covers our Site and does not cover any other site. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may make changes in our privacy policy from time to time. When we do so, we will post the revised privacy policy on our Site with a link at the bottom of our home page.
